First time here and I love it! The service was top tier and this is bar side. The young lady helped me choose my seasonal cocktail quick between the hot apply cider or the caramel snickerdoodle martini. This martini is a 10/10! Best holiday cocktail I've had! Their tater tots are fire!!!! Thick, well seasoned and the sauce compliments it well! I cannot wait to return! The neighborhood feel and sexy ambiance with an average price point is top tier for this area! Way to go TJ Stones

Business trip FOOD FUN! "LET'S TALK ABOUT IT," TJ Stone was, hands down, delicious!!! Now, the lemon drop that I had I asked for it to be made with Tito's...whew it was just that it didn't taste like your typical lemon drop, where you will you have a lemon taste...strong and good! Let's talk about this dish! Cedar Salmon this came with spinach but I swapped it out for green beans, the wild rice with it is not your typical wild rice it has celery carrots and peppers in it and then you had the salmon with a creamy sauce that was more of a sweet and tangy style sauce but it was a white sauce, YESSSSSS all of it together made this dish very well The service was great, we sat at the bar it was rather empty because I think it was closer to closing time when we arrived. Now, the ambiance of the restaurant was very different it seemed as if it was just a bar ......you didn't get a vibe of an actual restaurant cuisine.... so the food did not match the look of the establishment, the food did not taste like the look of the establishment..... so don't judge the book by its cover. I'm definitely going to give it another go with a different dish!

From the look of the other yelp photos, I believe this place went through a recent renovation. The inside is very nice and there is a lot of seating in the bar area. I've been here twice now in the last month and the food has been consistently good. The customer service is good as well. Everyone working the bar area checked in with us at some point to make sure we were taken care of. The beer menu is HUGE! They have something for everyone, but if you're not into beer, they have plenty of cocktail and wine items. I'd also like to mention that the women's restroom was spotless, smelled amazing and had "products" available if you needed them.

This is a pretty cool restaurant/bar spot in the Alexandria area. I stopped here for a night cap to catch the late Sunday night football game. It's your typical restaurant/bar aesthetically with a long bar with a few surrounding tables, but there's also another room with additional tables fit for dining. It was still pretty lively even at that hour, a lot of customers, a lot of noise, but overall good crowd. I was able to find a seat at the bar the server was friendly and very intentional about making sure everyone was being accommodated in a timely fashion. The menu has appetizers like peeled tiger shrimp, buttermilk fried chicken skewers, Tennessee sliders, a couple different salad options, several sandwich and burger options like Turkey avocado clubs, angus burgers, and bbq sandwiches, and more main course type entrees ranging from cedar spiced grilled salmon to cast iron herb chicken. They also offer smoked meat combos like beef brisket and pork ribs with prices ranging from $11-$33 overall. I ended up ordering the triple dipped wings in KC bbq (they offer 6 different flavors). Overall really good wings not overly saucy and the smoked flavor stood out. I'd recommend trying this spot out if you're looking for a spot with a local neighborhood feel to it and solid food.

Came in for a late night dinner after the oyster house next door closed. It was busy but they were on top of everything. We had a burger and two of the brisket plates. It was too late to get the fried chicken. the brisket was very good and really hit the spot after a long day. Very reasonably priced and the service was great!

Great Service during lunch. We were with a large group and the Shrimp Roll that I ordered was over the top excellent. The waitress we had for lunch was excellent. I'm pretty sure everyone else enjoyed their food on a beautiful afternoon in the DC area. We stopped later in the evening for some beers and it was cool just hanging outside and chilling. They had a decent beer selection, although they were out of a few. Service wasn't as great, but it wasn't bad either. Our waitress from lunch was still working and we wished we could have had her again. The inside seemed big but we were outside both visits, which was nice for an early April visit. It's also close to the Sheraton which was a plus for a nightcap. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but it's a good option if you're in the area.

Oh my god, the food was fantastic. The price point was pretty good too... we ordered two burgers and wings, it came up at $60 (w/o tip). Service was a tad slow and it wasn't a busy Saturday night - servers were very polite though. The bar is on the other side of the restaurant so it can get a little noisy (just FYI). We asked for BBQ sauce to go and we were charged, we were surprised (not upset tho). Smoked wings: 9/10 they were CRISPY and saucy, my favorite. 1/2 pound burger: I knew better, lol! It was TOO much for me, however - I did not regret ordering it. The gouda tater tot was delicious, partner assumed it was small ones and not a huge one at the top.

Friends and I came for dinner around 5:30PM on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded so we were sat immediately. Our server was prompt and friendly. There is a decent size patio area, as well as a large bar area and then a nice size dining room. The space is definitely able to accommodate large party sizes and is family friendly. The overall ambiance was plain but clean. We enjoyed our cocktails and dinner for a reasonable price -- about $40 a person. I did feel the cocktails were a bit overpriced.
